This Sony Ericsson phone concept by Karsten Willmann has all the basics of “phone concepts 101″ down. You’ve got the high contrast OLED display. You’ve got the really thin form factor. And then there’s the number key pad and soft keys sitting nearly flush with the surface.

OLED display market growing at 56%

Active matrix OLED displays continued volume shipments with Samsung SDI, Kodak, Sony and eMagin shipping 335,000 displays in Q1 2007. Shipments are expected to double in the second quarter to 685,000 displays. Applications include MP3 players, mobile phones and near-eye view finders and displays.
